SOUTHERN ARIZONA INTEGRATED THERAPIES OPENING DEC 1st, 2012
Tucson's First Medical Cannabis Dispensary is Ready to Serve the Needs of Our Community
After a two year process of licensing, inspection and approval to operate, Green Medicine Inc. is proud to announce the opening of its medical cannabis dispensary, dba Southern Arizona Integrated Therapies (SAINTS). Located in central Tucson at 112 S. Kolb Rd in the Gaslight Village Plaza, it is the first licensed Prop 203 dispensary in the State of Arizona to open its doors to the 33,600 qualified patients and their designated caregivers.
Southern Arizona Integrated Therapies will begin pre-registering qualified patients and caregivers at 10 AM on December 1, 2012 and will begin dispensing medical cannabis on December 11, 2012. All patients must have a set appointment time to pre-register and to enter the dispensary.
Call 520-886-1003 or check the dispensary website at www.SAZITherapies.com for hours, policies and procedures, product information, making appointments online and other important information.
SAINTS follows a strict medical model of securing and dispensing medical grade cannabis. All products are laboratory tested for patient safety. "Walking into the dispensary is much like walking into a doctor's office or a pharmacy, with privacy and security being our highest priority." according to Dr. Steven Shochat, Director of Operations. "Our friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable staff is ready to help in the selection of the right medicine for your needs."
Patients that qualify for dispensary services under the Arizona Medical Marijuana Program include those diagnosed with the following conditions: cancer, glaucoma, HIV/ AIDS, Hepatitis C, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Crohn's disease, agitation of Alzheimer's, cachexia or wasting syndrome, severe and chronic pain, severe nausea, seizure disorders, and severe or persistent muscle spasms including those characteristic of Multiple Sclerosis.
SAINTS is proceeding with the required documentation, inspections and approvals to operate its own state-of the-art cultivation center, which is anticipated to be operational within the next few months. Until that time, they are able to accept donations of medical grade cannabis from ADHS registered caregivers and patients that are authorized to cultivate.
"Remember to make an appointment before you come to visit. We are looking forward to serving you." said Dr. Shochat. Call SAIT at 520-886-1003 for further details.
